ATC’s newest spinning reel, the Virtuous, incorporates some of the latest technologies and was built to take on the toughest fighting species. Featuring a dual drag system which applies pressure from both the top and bottom of the spool for a powerful and smooth drag. Constructed with an aluminium body, rotor, and spool, it is lightweight yet rigid enough to withstand prolonged saltwater usage. Internally, an oscillating gear system works in tandem with the main gear, which is made of zinc alloy, and the pinion gear is made of brass. For reel sizes up to 5000, the screw on handle includes an EVA knob and for reel sizes 8000 and above, the screw on handle includes a full carbon knob. The patented Multi Point Anti-Reverse System limits backward handle movement for better hook sets while reducing shock to the reel, and the 9+1 Stainless Steel corrosion resistant ball bearings for an all-round smooth feel to this tough reel.
